The passion for flying, unchanged over the years, has pushed Antonino Maniscalco to deepen the subject of aviation law. The navigation law is a special and autonomous right. It constitutes that complex of laws and regulations, separated from the civil code, which as stated in the art. 1 of the navigation code place the use of civil law in the last place. Frequently deriving from the normal provisions of law, it autonomously regulates the matter with norms sometimes antithetical with respect to fundamental principles of the Common Law. We have gained considerable experience in the field of aviation law, including both General Aviation and recreational sports flying (VDS and advanced VDS) as well as airport regulations. We have also handled compensation actions against shipping and cruise companies, compensation for the responsibility of owners of recreational boats, regulations concerning shipping and maritime trade.
